FCCLA

Students in Grades 7-12 may participate in the local FCCLA Chapter.  Each year 30-40 students participate in regional and state competitions.  Marilyn Schoolmeester is the faculty advisor who is known throughout the State of Minnesota and also throughout the National FCCLA program.

National Honor Society

The National Honor Society is an organization that students must apply for membership.  GPA, Scholarship, Service, and Leadership factors that are considered.  There are twelve seniors, three juniors and two sophomores who belong to the National Honor Society.


Peer Helpers

Students who are Juniors and Seniors with a desire to help others are selected to be part of the peer helper program.  Peer Helpers are student leaders with academic and social abilities to help other students.  The program was started in 1991 and usually has 12-14 students who help others.  Mr. Van Kley is the faculty advisor

Student Council

Students who are class officers or elected to serve by their classmates on the student council are responsible for helping in homecoming week activities and other school wide assemblies or events


FCA

A Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle is an option for students in grades 7-12 who want to participate in bi-monthly bible studies prior to the start of the school day.
